How To Use The Program
First start off by opening the program. From the home screen press [prgm] then scroll to the program (mine is named “REGIIDSH”). Then press [enter] and then [enter] again.
You will then be taken to a screen that prompts you to enter the number of sides that the polygon has let’s say you want the area of a pentagon, you would enter “5” and then press [enter]
Then you will be taken to a screen to choose your input, or in other words, what you know about your shape. You can choose to enter one of the side lengths of your polygon. You can also choose to enter the distance from the center of the polygon to a vertex (outer-radius). Or the distance from the center of the polygon to a side (in-radius). And the “<QUIT>” selection at the bottom will quit the program.
After selecting an option by pressing [enter], you will be prompted to enter the length of the measurement you selected (I used 3 as an example). Type the measurement and then press [enter] the program will then return the area.
