How To Use The Program
First start off by opening the program. From the home screen press [prgm] then scroll to the program (mine is named “ANGLCONV”. Then press [enter] and then [enter] again.
The program will then ask you what you want to convert. (DMS stands for Degrees, Minutes, Seconds.) From this menu, you can scroll to the conversion you want to perform, or you can scroll to “<QUIT>” to exit the program.
For our example, I will convert from degrees to DMS. So I will scroll to the second item on the menu, “DEGREES TO DMS(°,’,”)” and then press [enter]. Then the program will take me to the screen below.
Here I am being prompted to enter my degree measure. As an example, I will type in 85.2462 as an example. After you have entered the degree measure, just press [enter].
After that, you will be given 85.2462 degrees in degrees minutes and seconds. So our final answer would be written as 85°14’46.32”.
